Strategy: Wait to eat the really tempting thing till there is only one left. I have a sister and nephew who will save me their last bite of brownie. Can you imagine? Clearly different gene pool.
Why: So that I am not relying on my off switch, which I suspect was never installed in the first place. Stashing a piece for myself right at the beginning of the exposure has worked really well. At least that way I am no longer preoccupied with the debate. I have even occasionally chucked what I stashed….occasionally. Taking it with me when I leave has also worked much better than indulging when there is so much damage available to be done!
