Strategy:  Always exercise on a Monday.

Why:  It sets the tone for the week.  I guarantee that if you charted your exercise patterns you would see that virtually every week with Monday exercise is a week with more exercise overall.  If I blow Monday off, then I am just getting more practiced at blowing my exercise off, and who needs to get any better at that?  Monday exercise hands the reigns to my “on track” self.

I do this with my Skinny Days too:  start the week with a great day or two, get a sort of jump start on the week as a result, and get them out of the way.  It’s a very effective strategy for slamming the door on the weekend indulging also.
