Strategy: Always locate the Starbucks. It is programmed into my GPS as we speak.
Why: My ritual afternoon coffee (cappuccino in Italy) has saved me from many the inappropriate afternoon snack, especially on vacation. It has a predictable sister rule (especially as I usually work on my blogs in Starbucks): never, ever buy food at a Starbucks. Not a single morsel.
