‘Tis the Season…some seasons like Halloween and the ensuing holiday season are full of challenges; circumstances however that I have lived through a number of times at this point. This provides great fodder for me to practice my tools – lots of social and domestic circumstances to circumnavigate, and lots of years of habits just waiting to be analyzed and changed if I don’t think they serve me. I can easily use my past to predict how I am likely to be conducting myself – no real surprises there. If I’d really prefer that I not do whatever I did last year, I can use my history to make plans to protect myself from myself. I just need to begin this process before I am actaully in the candy aisle!
