Environmental Basics – I can create environments that support the task I am trying to accomplish – at least some of the time. I can keep the right things in my home, pick the type of restaurant I want to eat in, be the one to bring the crudite to your party. I can keep sneakers, sunscreen and mittens in my car. This is by far the biggest struggle of the otherwise competent individual – permission to support themselves. Yet, I have found it to be the single most effective strategy by far. If I had to pick one single action to take to promote success, it would be this. Period.
